Source Canada (presenting sponsor OMERS Ventures) is a new national summit focused on one big goal: helping Canadian companies buy more Canadian technology. It’s a response to a long-standing problem. Canada builds world-class tech, but too often, our biggest enterprises look elsewhere when it’s time to buy. Changing that will level the playing field for Canadian startups.

Procurement is one of the most powerful tools we have to grow Canada’s innovation economy. But today, we underuse it. Canadian firms spend too little on R&D, and startups struggle to land their first big customers at home.

Source Canada is about changing that. It’s a working session focused on dealmaking:
